Abstract

The author has analyzed current theoretical foundations of views of the tactical employment of topographic service units. Basic forms and application methods of topographic units' employment have been determined. The author has analyzed their nature and formulated proposals concerning employment that is more efficient. Key words: survey support, employment of topographic service units, application forms, application methods, operational command, map making unit.
